A Fé Bahá'í em Angola iniciou-se depois de `Abdu'l-Bahá ter escrevido cartas incentivando a divulgação da religião, começando na África em 1916. [1] A primeira pioneira bahá'í que foi para Angola foi cerca de 1952. [2] Em 1963 houve uma eleição da Assembléia Espiritual Local, em Luanda (capital), e havia pequenos grupos de bahá'ís em outras cidades. [3] Em 1992, os Bahá'ís de Angola elegeram sua primeira Assembleia Espiritual Nacional. [4] A Associação dos Arquivos de Dados Religião (com base sobretudo na Enciclopédia Mundial Cristã) estima cerca de 1.800 bahá'ís desde 2005 [5].
